Onderstaande mail heb ik naar de verhuurorganisatie gestuurd. Aangezien de boeking via jullie is verlopen, maak ik jullie er deelgenoot van "Na dit bombardement aan mailtjes een reactie over het verblijf. 1. Bij de booking was het niet duidelijk dat de communicatie louter in het Engels zou plaatsvinden. Ik heb dit als zeer ergerlijk ervaren en zou deze booking zeker niet gemaakt hebben als ik dit vooraf had geweten. 2. Ook was het bij de booking niet duidelijk dat er geen enkele vorm van receptie of persoonlijk contact mogelijk zou zijn. Ook dit hebben wij als erg negatief ervaren en dit zou ons ook hebben weerhouden van een booking. Bijkomend negatief punt hiervan is, dat wij niet onze bagage vooraf konden afleveren; iets wat wij bij een stadsbezoek gewoon zijn te doen. Nu moesten wij gebruik maken van de bagagekluizen op het station. 3. Bij aankomst lukte het ons om met de ontvangen code de voordeur van het pand te openen. Echter aangekomen bij onze ruimte (Sophie) werkte de code niet. Na diverse ingewikkelde telefoontjes (in het Engels) kwam er na een uur (!) 'gedoe' een oplossing. We konden een sleutel bemachtigen via een sleutelkastje buiten. Een erg vervelende start van ons verblijf, die ook nog eens ons programma in de war schopte. 4. De bovenstaande oplossing was ons overigens uiteindelijk aangereikt door een Nederlands sprekende jongen aan de telefoon die ons beloofde de informatie nog aan ons te mailen en (op mijn vraag) ook beloofde informatie te sturen over compensatie mogelijkheden voor dit ongemak. Niets meer ontvangen of gehoord. Ook is er niemand langs geweest of heeft de organisatie iets van zich laten horen. Kan ik dit nog verwachten? 5. In de bookingskosten was sprake van € 45,- schoonmaakkosten. Dan verwacht je een zeer schone ruimte. Echter, het was duidelijk te zien dat de stofzuiger niet overal door de ruimte was gegaan. Niet dat het vies was, maar ook niet spik en span. 6. De ruimte was zonder meer goed.
